Had’vizan roughly translates from Cheunh into ‘Hado’s Hope’. The purpose of the project is twofold- it will provide needed material and supplies for the war effort while simultaneously offering healing and shelter to the Chiss who are fighting for the Ascendancy in the maelstrom of the galaxy at large.
Had’vizan will provide the Chiss with the necessary supplies and material to support our people as they fight and live within the Empire. Farms will provide food for our people, both vegetable and meat. The planet has many natural resources that can be mined, drilled, or otherwise pulled from the ground. Refineries will turn these raw materials into usable resources, which in turn can go into the production of needed goods. Clothing, armour, weapons, housing, medicine, all self-contained on our new home. Space docks will be used for both repair and manufacture, assuring us that Imperials will never again touch the Csillan Rose or any other Chiss ship.
Shelter and Support
Had’vizan will boast some of the most advanced building techniques and designs within the Ascendancy, taking into account centuries of expertise in a location that has thus far been untouched. A state of the art power distribution network will run a city planned around the individual Chiss. Medical centres and research facilities will provide us with the best care, and ensure that our techniques and knowledge continually evolve. Barracks and training facilities will ensure that our warriors are prepared with the best tactics available to fight. But most importantly, it will provide those who have suffered from the horrors of the maelstrom a place of safety and healing. A place where they can remember what it is to be Chiss, and to find comfort in the culture they fight so hard to protect.
Power Grid- 14 KM of power conduit, to be buried no less than one meter below the planned cityscape surface. Excavators are used to dig out the conduit tunnels. Task complete, 16 days behind schedule.
Power Generation- Minimal Phase 1 requirement: 770 TEW. One 800 TCW generator central to the colony for all Phase 1 requirements, and a second 1400 TEW generator to accomodate expanded power requirements for Phases 2 and 3.
Mining- Requirement for 750 tonnes of material for each mineral required per planetary month. Eighteen minerals surveyed on planet. Furthest deposit from planned city centre, 27 KM. Transit will also be required, suggest permanent tram system for freight to and from the refineries. Estimated cost in Credits: 62 million.
Refineries- Output of 800 tonnes of material for each mineral, allowing for maintenance and unexpected failures. At the edge of planned final city limits. Requires dedicated backup power generator, rated at 280 TEW.
Waste Management- Piping to be laid with power conduits. Processing facilities to be linked to primary power grid, with backup generator required, rated at 180 TEW. Throughput for water required estimate 750 gallons per day at Phase 1, 45 million gallons per day at Phase 3 completion. Throughput for solid and semisolid waste at 600 kg per day at Phase 1, 77 million kg at Phase 3 completion.
Agriculture- Farmland required for livestock both dairy and meat and for produce. Area 12 KM northwest of planned city centre considered most fertile, and with most predictable rain pattern.
Temporary lodgings will also need to be built to accommodate Phase 1 colonists and work crew.
Phase 2- Essential Services
Security and Military- Barracks and training facilities for ground and space warriors. Colony security forces for ground and air defenses, including ground-to-air defenses, turbolasers, and shield generators.
Medical Facilities- Basic service, health maintenance, and emergency treatment services. Surgical and cybernetics facilities will take priority, using the best technology available in the Ascendancy and Empire.
Basic Housing- Housing for individuals and families. Small dwellings with comfort and security in mind, rather than luxury. Baseline of commoner housing back in the Ascendancy. Planned initial development area to support a population of 480,000.
Basic Manufacturing- Wood, metal, and textile manufacturing for basic housing and keeping needs. Also includes raw material processing into household goods.
Military Manufacturing- Weaponry, armour, and vehicle manufacturing.
Phase 3- Full Colonization
Luxury Services- Beyond the basic necessities of the basic manufacturing base. Mining and treatment of gemstones, precious metals, and other luxuries, advanced furniture, and other ornamental manufacturing.
Expanded Housing- Further housing, primarily for advanced status and rank, including the Hado compound and housing for officials within the colony. Final population support- 1,280,0000
Research and Education Facilities- Basic education and training facilities for civilian activity and for children. Universities specializing in military history and tactics, life sciences, technical sciences, and engineering. Medical and military research and development.
Orbital Dockyard- Orbital dockyard for repair and for manufacture of new spacecraft. Basic design to accommodate the Csillan Rose.
Landscaping and Recreational Facilities- Parks and recreational facilities, musical venues, art and history museums.
